Yesterday reminded me why I love coming home to Fayetteville.

We kicked off the first Skillset Project cohort, and three local business owners spent part of their Saturday pouring into our young people.

Thank you to Michael James Johnson of ACMan Cooling & Heating for sharing what a career in HVAC really looks like and answering questions with so much honesty.

Thank you to Tauheed Wood for showing that the skilled trades can become so much more than a career—they can become the foundation for building businesses and creating opportunities for others.

A huge thank you to Kevin Brooks and the entire thegroupTheory team. This event happened because of partnership, shared vision, and a commitment to our community.

Watching everyone engage, ask questions, and begin thinking differently about their futures reminded me exactly why we're building the Skillset Project.
