Two days ago our apartment flooded during a brief, but intensive storm. We are physically ok, but mentally we are numb. This has been a recent wtf in a particularly tough stretch of WTF’s for us. I don’t know what’s next, but this may be a “holy s**t, here we go” kind of moment.

I painted this while the chaos was occurring. My attempt at containment and strive to create the rainbow is still there. That’s good at least.
