Ayden's last day at Resolute📸

Ayden Lester finished his time as a high school athlete at Resolute this summer.

Ayden will attend the University of Central Arkansas this year. He will play football for the Bears. We are so grateful for who he is and all he has accomplished in his time with us.

A Bible verse that comes to mind when we think of Ayden is Colossians 1:28-29 "Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me."

Over the past two years that Ayden has been at Resolute, we have seen him grow in his understanding of healthy competition. He always wants to be his best, regardless of the expectations, opponent, or possible setback. He humbly attacks improving, even when things are hard.

Ayden also does not settle for others not pursuing their best. His example is one that says, "Yes you can. Come with me. Let's succeed together."

When faced with a severe leg injury and a difficult road to getting back to playing within the same season, Ayden's mindset did not waiver. He committed to doing whatever he had to do to get on the field immediately. He also did not shy away from find other ways to contribute the progress of those around him.

He is a confident competitor because his confidence is rooted in humility. And his humility comes from knowing Christ.
