Team Spitfire in Wyoming!

Great night at Aztec Speedway for Team Spitfire drivers! After making some changes to the #55 sport mod driven by Brian Carey, he managed to find himself battling for the lead all night long and setting the fastest lap time in all classes in his sport mod until a caution on lap 19 forced him in the less preferred line ending his night with a 3rd place finish. Congratulations to Julie Boettler, driver of the #97 sport mod for working her way up to the #2 position. After having surgery two days prior, the car driven by Juanita Marie, managed to post the fastest lap time of all sport mods in the heat races, winning her heat. In the main, Juanita battled with 2nd place, Brian Carey, until a late caution on lap 19. Juanita ended up finishing 4th. Proof that the Northern Sport Mods can run with the Southern Sport Mods and be competitive. It's just awesome that Spitfire Chassis has the only two women drivers in the class. One in a Southern, one in a Northern. And all 3 Spitfire cars finished in the top 4!

On a side note, congratulations to the boys on Mangum Road for taking 4 of the top 5 spots in the stock car main.
