This Masters is shaping up to be exciting! What are your thoughts? Who are you rooting for?
Did anyone hear the Rules mistake on Friday on 13? I saw it via the Masters app. I don’t remember more specifics but someone hit into the creek in front of the creek and the announcer (one of the Immelman brothers) said something like “he’s taking advantage of the equidistant part of the lateral hazard rule”. I perked up then because that part of the former Rule 26 was removed from the Rules in 2019. In standard Masters fashion, it was never mentioned again. What the player did was simply take advantage of the drop zone to the left of the 13th green.
