This is Misty Loman. She was "internet famous" for her m**h progression mugshots. You have probably seen the post to the left. What you didn’t see is the story behind this person. Misty was diagnosed with bone cancer, lupus, and scleroderma (hardening of the skin). Then three of her kids died. Which was ultimately her reason for turning to drugs in the first place. What hasn't been shown is the picture on the right. This woman, despite being mocked mercilessly online, in all her struggle, has now been in recovery for almost 3 years! If she can fight this battle, there is no reason we can't!

If you’re struggling and thinking of using, relapsing.. please don’t. It will NOT fix anything. It won’t even mask the pain, not even for a second. I’m speaking from personal experience.

If you’re thinking about harming yourself, please don’t do it. Feelings pass, it’s inevitable. A lot easier said than done, I know… but you’re worthy and deserve so much more than you think.

Give yourself a chance. It sounds so lame but it’s true. Too many people make permanent decisions based off of temporary feelings. Close your eyes, breathe, and try to find one thing to be grateful for ❤️
