Days 8 & 9 🇳🇴

Our journey through Norway’s fjord country continued with a stop at the stunning Bøyabreen Glacier, where we were able to see one of the many arms of the massive Jostedalsbreen Glacier up close. Along the way, we enjoyed an included lunch surrounded by some of Norway’s incredible mountain scenery before visiting the historic Hopperstad Stave Church, a remarkable wooden church dating back to the 1100s.

The next day, we cruised through Nærøyfjord, one of the narrowest and most beautiful fjords in the world, surrounded by towering mountains, waterfalls, and small villages tucked into the landscape. After lunch in Flåm, we traveled aboard the famous Flåm Railway, taking in spectacular views as we made our way toward Bergen.

From glaciers and fjords to centuries of history and unforgettable views, these two days showcased some of the very best scenery Norway has to offer.

Only a few posts left from our incredible Norway and Sweden tour. Thank you all for following along and sharing this journey with us. Roll Herd! 💚💛

Day 7 brought us deep into the heart of Norway’s fjord country. We spent the day winding through dramatic mountain roads, cruising through Geirangerfjord by ferry, and taking in views that genuinely felt unreal. Even with the rain and fog rolling through the mountains, the scenery somehow became even more breathtaking.

Some of our choir members also took the Loen Skylift, one of the steepest cable cars in the world, climbing over 3,300 feet above the fjord in just a few minutes. At the top, we were greeted with panoramic views of snow-covered peaks, waterfalls, winding roads, and the fjords stretching far below the clouds.

That evening, we enjoyed a traditional Norwegian buffet dinner at our Hotel before ending the night with a Norwegian folklore show featuring traditional Norwegian dance and the Hardanger fiddle, one of Norway’s most iconic folk instruments. Another unforgettable day on tour! 🇳🇴
