FBC Classics

The Classics and a few others from FBC had a fun evening at Newman Outdoor Field for a FM Red Hawks game. We had a pre-game party in the fireside room before heading to the 7:00 game. The weather was nice until the bottom of the 9th when a storm moved in and we had to leave before the rain hit. The Red Hawks came up short and we missed the fireworks because of the weather, but we still had a good time. The fresh-squeezed lemonade and mini-donuts were really good.

Had a great time yesterday at Glendalough State Park, near Battle Lake, MN. Had a few sprinkles around noon, but that passed quickly. We had a shady spot by the lake and the historic lodge was a perfect retreat. Some went walking, biking, kayaking, and cooled off in the lake. It was a nice time of fellowship with some great food and scenery. Praise the Lord for His creation for us to enjoy.

Had a great time hosting the Classics at the LaGier farm yesterday. It was a little on the wam side, so we took refuge in the shade until the sun went down. The skies were clear and the Lord gave us a spectacular sunset and moonrise. Big thanks to my wife Angelique LaGier for putting together a great menu. It was a very enjoyable evening for all.

The lake outing has been postponed until 31st.
