We were honored to join fellow community partners recently at ACT for Alexandria Fund for Racial Equity Celebration, recognizing the collective work of organizations strengthening the Alexandria community.

We are grateful to receive support from the Fund for Racial Equity through this year's Spring2ACTion campaign. This investment strengthens our Healthy Families Alexandria and Child & Family Wellbeing programs, helping families access the resources, support, and opportunities they need.

Thank you to ACT for Alexandria and the Fund for Racial Equity for your continued partnership.

Tomorrow, we recognize the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture.

Through our Multicultural Center's Program for Survivors of Torture and Severe Trauma (PSTT), NVFS provides trauma-informed services that help survivors heal, rebuild stability, and move forward.

As a member of the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT), PSTT is also helping raise awareness of the Survivors' Charter, a global call for healing, justice, and accountability.

Learn more about the Survivors’ Charter here: https://irct.org/Survivors-Charter/
