The Fallbrook Climate Action Team (FCAT) will go dark for the holiday season of November and December 2025. We will be back in January 2026 for our 11th year.

With 107 presentations so far, our group has heard from experts about possible plans to reduce harmful emissions from Transportation, discussed efforts to expand sustainable energy from solar and wind, explored different strategies for Zero Waste, plus, we’ve learned about Land Use initiatives with sustainable agriculture and wildlife preservation.

Meanwhile there’s been a steady stream of bad news with wildfires, devastating storms, and corrupt politicians trying to destroy any efforts to make the world a better place.

Yet small progress still happens; new solar panels shading irrigation canals in Central California reduce water evaporation, California now has more Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers, public and private, than the total number of gasoline nozzles, while the rise of new energy and battery storage systems have stopped rolling blackouts in California. Exciting examples of land and wildlife preservation can be found in many places.

However small, the Fallbrook Climate Action Team adds our voice to these efforts. Happy Holidays!
