The morning of Summer and Taylor’s wedding brought a heavy downpour, but the couple felt at peace knowing the lucky showers would not dampen their day.

Ten years after they first met, they celebrated on the lush grounds of Botanica in Oceanside. White florals kissed by raindrops lined the aisle, scattered with romantic petals. Taylor waited at the altar in a sharp white suitcoat with a black bowtie and pocket square, while Summer floated down the aisle in an opulent lace gown with matching gloves, her cathedral-length veil trailing behind her. 

After exchanging vows beneath whimsical woods and meadow-like florals, a live wedding painter captured one of their first kisses as a married couple. Black-and-white signage let the scenery shine and guided guests to tables named for the couple’s favorite travel spots. Friends and family snapped photos in front of a handmade backdrop of more than 300 black-and-white images and sipped celebratory champagne.

Jeff proposed to MC on the island of Milos, Greece, where the couple weathered a lost-luggage disaster with humor instead of frustration. “We’ll have each other forever,” MC said at the time, a sentiment that helped design the wedding weekend from start to finish.

Under sweeping trees and beneath the glow of candlelight, the couple and their vendor team transformed the concept of Georgia countryside charm into a celebration with unmistakable California energy for their big day. Inspired by the bride’s southern roots and Jeff’s Beverly Hills sensibility, the wedding married softness with spectacle—lush florals spilled across reception tables, patterned linens layered against vintage china and twinkle lights cast a warm haze over the evening.

Personal details carried the celebration. MC’s father handcrafted the ceremony chuppah from wood from the family farm, while her hand-embroidered mother embroidered nearly 200 napkins for the welcome party. Guests later discovered handwritten notes tucked inside calligraphed envelopes at their seats, each paired with a personal photo and memory from the couple.
