Hear from our client Tammy, who came to Youngren Construction to remodel their home’s bathroom to be fully ADA accessible for her disabled daughter.
Before the remodel, the family and caregivers struggled with slippery tile floors, unwieldy shower heads, and confined space that made using the shower both uncomfortable and hazardous.
After visiting their home and talking in depth about their daughter’s needs, our estimation and drafting team was able to enlarge the bathroom space and install a beautiful roll in shower. Now the shower has a slip-proof floor, grab bars, multiple removable shower nozzles, and plenty of space.
In Tammy’s words: “Having this new ADA roll in shower bathroom has been an incredible thing for the whole family and my daughter’s caregivers and nurses. It’s really been a huge benefit to her care and to the family.”

It’s time to start working on a new Homes For Our Troops home! 🏡
Please join us on Saturday, May 2 as we kickoff the building of a new specially adapted, custom home for Army SPC Seth Wakeling. The Ceremony will be followed by lunch and an opportunity to welcome the Wakeling family to the community.
