Summer is starting to make its presence known on the farm, and vegetable production is really ramping up with all these sunny days.

Every week we're seeing more growth, more harvests, and more abundance coming out of the fields.

One of the most exciting developments this week is that we're seeing our first peaches and apples showing up on some of the young trees. It's still early, but after a year of planting, watering, mulching, and caring for these orchards, seeing fruit appear on the baby trees is incredibly rewarding.

This week's CSA share includes squash, Early Girl tomatoes, strawberries, turnips, carrots, microgreens, cucumbers, onions, rainbow chard, and Valencia oranges — all harvested at their peak and packed with fresh flavor.

And yes… once again, I meant w**d whacking, not w**d eating. Between planting, harvesting, and keeping up with the spring growth, there’s never a dull moment out here.

The orchard is looking incredible right now — all the trees are thriving, putting on healthy growth, and benefiting from the recent compost and warmer weather. Everywhere you look, things are growing fast.
