Join the VFW Auxiliary to Post 1924 as we proudly recognize Purple Up! Day, part of the Month of the Military Child. On this special day, we honor the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of our military children—our nation’s youngest heroes.

Military kids serve too. They face frequent moves, long separations from loved ones, and unique challenges with courage and grace. Like a dandelion, military children can thrive wherever they land! Wearing purple symbolizes all branches of the military, united together in support of these incredible young individuals.

We invite our community to wear purple on April 15 to show appreciation and support for military children everywhere. Let’s stand together and remind them that they are seen, valued, and never alone.
