Our best paint does not come from a big box store, it was developed in Theodore, AL and is still manufactured there today. I refer to it as a paint system. We remove the old paint to 95% bare wood, apply three coats of West System Epoxy, prime and sand twice, before applying four thin coats of BLP Mobile Paint Mothane paint. Finally, we bake at 120 degrees for six hours and flip it right side up to finish the restoration.
