June was an amazing month at Fairfield-Suisun Adult School! 🎉
Over the course of four weeks, 94 students completed six short-term career pathway trainings and earned more than 200 industry-recognized certificates in fields including healthcare, logistics, education, and technology.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated instructors, Solano County Health and Social Services, the Workforce Development Board, and our many community partners for making these opportunities possible. Together, we’re building a stronger workforce and a stronger community.
We’re already planning more training opportunities for August. Stay tuned—we can’t wait to see you again soon!

HR1 will bring changes that could affect access to CalFresh, Medi-Cal, and other public benefits for thousands of Solano County residents and families.
The Workforce Development Board of Solano County and Solano County Health & Social Services have brought together local leaders from community organizations to begin building a coordinated response.
Together, we are committed to sharing resources, strengthening partnerships, and helping our community prepare for the changes ahead.
