Our Owl classroom were learning the letter T! They glued black Triangles on to their orange letter T and practiced the sounds the letter T makes! Our preschoolers love working in their kindergarten readiness skills!

Let’s Make Hungry Caterpillars! 🐛 🍎 To celebrate Eric Carle week, our Panda classroom used different shades of green paper cut into different sized squares and rectangles and glued down the pieces of paper onto a larger piece of paper. They talked about the shape, size and color of the squares and rectangles. By doing this activity they practiced language skills, math skills, fine motor and art skills!

During Eric Carle week, our Giggly Giraffes read “The Ladybug” book. After reading the story, they tore red and black paper to create a lady bug collage. This helps build fine motor skills as a precursor to handwriting. In addition, when you are two, it’s just so much fun to tear up paper!
