Nehemiah Project Community Development

For Rosalyn’s 98 year old mother, an elevated water bill presented it’s challenges. Ms. Vivian has lived in Mozley Park for over 60 years. When a mystery $1,000 water bill threatened her peace of mind, the Nehemiah Project CDC stepped in.

Our team replaced ancient basement pipes and leaky faucets in just one day. A safe, dry home for a community treasure who would like nothing more than enjoying the comforts of her home.

Through the power of partnership and support from our community programs, Brenda’s home received important upgrades designed with accessibility and independence in mind.

Brenda’s story is a beautiful example of how collaboration creates change—transforming homes, restoring hope, and strengthening our community one resident at a time.
