For the last 3 years, I have been working on converting my side yard lawn into a native and cut flower garden. 🪏 It’s been a labor of love, and it’s been so fun to see nature return, all of the varieties of birds, bumble bees, toads and chipmunks. The hummingbirds love my cardinal flower! You can often find me out there after a long session week literally touching grass (well dirt and flowers 💐) for stress relief. Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is helping neighbors do the same. Think about giving it a try. Replacing even a small section of grass can make a big difference! 🌎
