Reflecting back on 2023, and looking back over my Facebook friends ( some I have not seen in person in twenty years or more), and in-person loved ones, I feel thankful. I think in order to feel thankful, God drags you through the mud to make you appreciate life and the people in your life. 2020 was that kind of mud for all of us. We must never forget the lessons we learned that year.

Wishing all the folks who are going through challenges, sadness, and hardships, our love and support this year. It’s only through doing for others, that we truly feel appreciative of our own lives. It’s truly the secret of life. So go out and do something big or small for someone else; someone who may never be able to repay that kindness.

To all the folks (and four-legged babies) who continue to enrich my life, I cannot thank you enough. I may not always tell you, but you are what makes life living for me. You are the people who give lift to my wings. You are God’s angels here on earth.

And for that, I thank you, and I love you.💖

Without Barbara Walters there wouldn’t have been me—nor any other woman you see on evening, morning, and daily news. She was indeed a Trailblazer. I did my very first television audition with her in mind the whole time.

Grateful that she was such a powerful and gracious role model.

Grateful to have known her.

Grateful to have followed in her Light.
