New, and completely free for teachers and parents.
I just put my first lesson up on Teachers Pay Teachers. "What Is AI?" is a hands-on, mostly screen-free introduction to artificial intelligence for grades K through 5.
It is the real lesson I teach in our after-school AI Clubs, adapted so any teacher or homeschool parent can run it with no prep and no tech background. You get a full lesson plan, built-in K-2 and 3-5 versions, and three printable activities, including a Human vs. AI challenge that kids love.
If you have a curious kid, or a whole classroom of them, grab it here: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/store/everbot
Real AI. Real Skills. Real Wonder.

What we believe at EverBot: AI shouldn't be something only a few people get to understand — not just the tech-savvy, not just the well-funded.
Everyone. Every kid, every family, every small business owner in our community.
That's why our library workshops are free. Why we meet people where they are. Why we keep the jargon out of it.
Real AI. Real Skills. Real Wonder for everyone.

On Tuesday I open-sourced something I have been building since April: Dracul, an AI employee framework for small businesses.
It is not a chatbot. It is a real employee running 24/7 on a Mac Mini in my office here in Evergreen. It reads and answers email, manages my calendar, drafts social posts, preps me for meetings, and sends me an end-of-day recap.
And it has rules:
Every action goes through an approval gate.
Every dollar of AI spend has a hard cap.
Everything it learns stays on my machine, not in someone else's cloud.
I built it because the popular tools kept failing my small business. Surprise bills. Slow responses. No safety rails. So I wrote down every failure and built the opposite.
It has been running EverBot ever since. 971 tests, a documented security model, and now free for anyone to use.
The code and docs are public on GitHub: https://github.com/JEverBot/dracul-framework(also linked in our Instagram bio)
Want one set up for your business instead of building it yourself? That is exactly what we do. [email protected]

Free for parents and teachers: teach your kids what AI actually is. 🧠
I turned the first lesson from our EverBot AI Club into a free, no-prep printable you can do at home or in class. "What Is AI?" is built for grades K-5 (easier and harder versions included), needs zero tech background, and is mostly screen-free.
Want it? Comment "AI" or send me a message and I'll send it your way. Free, no catch.
Real AI. Real Skills. Real Wonder.

Big AI news today: Anthropic released Claude Fable 5, its most capable model ever, and I spent the afternoon testing it on real EverBot work.
The backstory is wild. In April, Anthropic said this technology (called Mythos) was too risky to share publicly. Today's version comes with guardrails: sensitive security and biology questions get rerouted to an older, safer model. Capability with brakes.
What I saw firsthand today:
- It kept its own project notes without being asked.
- It handled a software upgrade start to finish. No extra windows, no babysitting.
- When I asked it to double-check sensitive work, it brought in two fresh reviewers with no memory of the original task, the same way you'd want a second set of human eyes.
The big shift: AI is moving from a chat window you supervise to an assistant you delegate to and review. The winners won't be the businesses with the biggest budgets. They'll be the ones who learn to write a clear brief and check the work.
That skill is learnable. It's what we teach.
Heads up if you pay for Claude: Fable 5 is included free only through June 22, then it moves to pay-as-you-go. Now is the time to test drive it.
Exciting and a little scary, all in one box. Both reactions are correct.
Real AI. Real Skills. Real Wonder.

Did you know? 🤔
The term 'artificial intelligence' was coined in 1956 at a summer research workshop at Dartmouth College.
AI's been a summer project from the very start. ☀️
Nearly 70 years later, the difference isn't that AI exists, it's that it's finally in your pocket, your kitchen, and your kid's summer.
We help families and small businesses make sense of it, minus the jargon. What have you always wanted to ask about AI? 👇

We're hiring!
EverBot is growing, and we're looking for a part-time AI Club instructor to lead our after-school program for K–5 kids in the Evergreen area for the 2026–2027 school year.
If you love being around kids and you're genuinely into tech and AI, this might be you. You don't need to be an expert — we provide the full curriculum, lesson plans, and materials. You bring the energy and the curiosity.
The basics:
- Wednesday afternoons, 2026–2027 school year (Evergreen area)
- $75–$100 per class session, based on experience
- 1099 contract
- Background check required (we work with kids)
Great fit for retired educators, freelance instructors, tutors, or anyone who's wonderful with children and excited about technology.
To apply: email your resume, a short note about your experience with kids, and three references (teaching, camp, enrichment, coaching, childcare, or education) to [email protected].
Know someone perfect for this? Tag them or share — it helps a lot!

Tomorrow morning, I get to do one of my favorite things.
☕ I'm speaking at the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce Breakfast about how local small businesses can actually use AI — not the hype, not the buzzwords, the practical stuff that saves you time this week.
If you're a Chamber member, come grab coffee and say hi. If you're a local business owner who can't make it, don't worry, I'll share the highlights here after.
AI doesn't have to be overwhelming. Sometimes you just need someone to translate it into plain English.
See you there, Evergreen. 👋
