Over a year and a half in the making; the Dives-Pelican and 7:30 mines along with another 120 patented claims upon Republican Mountain above the small mountain town of Silver Plume have been acquired for preservation by the Town in partnership with the hard work and contributions from many Donors, The Colorado State Historical Fund, GOCO and the Mountain Area Land Trust. The collaboration and generous patience from all parties has led to the completion of this transaction which will benefit all who live, travel and recreate through this beautiful central Colorado mountain corridor.
