We celebrate team member, Dale Atkins, for his extraordinary accomplishment of FIFTY YEARS of service to mountain rescue! 👏

Dale joined Alpine Rescue Team as a teenager, and has inspired many along his journey of dedication to helping others. Along the way, Dale has shared his immense passion for the outdoors with others, and always with a mentality to teach and mentor. Those that have learned from Dale, please raise your hand! 🖐🏻

He is an avalanche expert ❄, weather guru 🌩, one of the quickest hikers up a 14er we've seen 🥾 (with a smile on his face!), a rescue hoist technician 🚁 and so much more. Most importantly, he is a friend to many, and one of the most humble leaders on our team. 🙂
