Ignoring body discomfort just so we can eat something is a habit & it can be changed by honoring body wisdom & telling the brain to shut up🙃
“Brain, you do not control this show!”
And then, not feeding the brain noise with that food. Eventually the noise will quiet and greater peace will ensue.
We were trained to over ride our body sensations, wisdom & emotional climate. These things were inconvenient for our caretakers & they didn’t know how to help us process them.
Coming back into body awareness & honor starts small by finding moments where you really pay attention to how your body is feeling in situations. Naming the sensations as you locate them. Giving them acknowledgement and permission to be here now.
As you get better, and faster at this process you can start naming and giving permission to emotions. ✨Welcoming it all HOME✨
