Congratulations to senior interior designer Kate Stein on her 5-year anniversary at Dykeman! Kate joined our team a week before the pandemic shutdown, getting to know most of the team and our clients virtually, but that didn't slow her down. She works tirelessly to ensure our clients are well cared for and brings her exceptional talent to every project. We are so lucky to have her on our team!

Every other week the Dykeman team gathers for an Inform + Inspire meeting where team members take turns sharing a design inspiration, passion, or interest of their choosing. This week architect Shin Goto treated the team to a glimpse of his time owning a restaurant in Seattle. Shin gave a presentation on the history and creation of "dango" - a Japanese confectionary made of rice flour that dates back to the 1600's and is a popular dessert and snack food in Japan. As part of his presentation Shin prepared dango for everyone to enjoy and was met with rave reviews. We love celebrating the diverse interests of our multi-talented team members!

We were honored to join Reid Middleton, Inc. and the Foundation for Edmonds School District at their annual breakfast this morning. It's inspiring to hear about the incredible work being done in support of students in the Edmonds School District community!
