After a long organizing drive and prolonged legal process, Northwestern University’s non-tenure eligible (NTE) faculty won their union certification on May 26, 2017. Unlike those two schools, however, Northwestern has announced that they will not begin negotiations with the newly formed union. In doing so, Northwestern is in violation of labor law.
