Over the weekend, one of our board member's kiddos decided not just to run a lemonade stand and show off those entrepreneurial skills, but also to give back to the community (unsolicited at that!)

Let's allow this act of kindness to serve as a sweet reminder that philanthropy is for everyone, and that the next generation is paying close attention to the examples we set. 🙂

Evanston Community Foundation's Community-Led Grant applications are open! We invite nonprofits and grassroots community groups to submit an application by June 22, 2026 to be considered for funding.

On May 28th 2026, we gathered with neighbors, nonprofit leaders, volunteers, and community partners to uplift what makes Evanston a vibrant and resilient community.

Together, we raised funds for the Now Fund that empowers ECF to support local nonprofits, advance justice, and empower local leaders.
