How often do you find yourself chest breathing. How about right now? Is your breath, deep, slow and calm, or is it a slider “bird breath” high in your chest? Hypermobile bodies are in need increased stability to function and feel better. This stability has to start with the trunk. A stable trunk supports the shoulder girdle, neck and head, and creates a stable base for arms and legs to move on.
And often overlooked part of stability is the respiratory diaphragm, and deep breathing created by it.
