The video for ‘brains nor backbone’ is out today! This is a track written for Dustopian Frequencies compilation album ‘Insects.’ The album explores the role of insects in folklore and mythology.

‘Brains nor backbone’ is inspired by Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis and the deathwatch beetle, whose namesake ‘tapping’ is sampled in the song. The deathwatch beetles tapping was known as a harbinger of death until it was known that it is actually a mating sound.

The compilation ‘Insects’ is now available on Dustopian Frequencies on limited edition cassette and digital.
