Infinite Dog Training

When I first met Sophie she could barely handle being in her own backyard let alone go for a walk around the block. She was so overwhelmed and reactive it was hard to even find a starting point in working with her. But her owners and I were steadfast in our commitment to help Sophie. Check out this update that was recently shared with me, I love updates! Sophie and her owners are living a great life together!

Sophie and I just reached our 600-mile goal for walking/hiking this year. This would be good for a human but I have to feel like it's outstanding for an 11 1/2 pound puppy hiker with tiny legs. She is absolutely unstoppable and 43 of our walks were 5Ks. We walked at least 15 different parks and trails. Meanwhile, training continues. She's one smart cookie and easy to train. For fun, if I say 'dog on a log' while we're out on a trail, she'll jump up on the nearest fallen tree or stump she can reach. She prefers woodsy unpaved trails and will turn to walk any such trails she sees. We've walked all the Babler trails and she has the patches to prove it. :) Just thought you might like an update. She's a credit to her trainer.
