Missing Euless cat.

Some news actually makes you breathe easier.

In a unanimous decision, the Ohio Supreme Court ruled that Ohio’s felony-level cruelty protections apply to all cats and dogs — including strays and community cats. In other words: a cat doesn’t need an “owner” to count.

That matters, because for too long, people tried to hide behind a loophole:
“If it’s a stray, it’s not the same.”

But pain doesn’t change because a cat sleeps outside.

They suffer just as much—often more—without anyone to protect them.
And the law finally said the quiet part out loud: their lives still have value.

I wish this wasn’t “big news.”
I wish it was normal everywhere.

Do you think every state should treat cruelty to stray cats the same as cruelty to pets?

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Guapo is home safe & sound after 8 days, 12 hours :)
