Last week Tuesday, we had our last reception of the school year 📸 The UO advanced photography class had their “Silver Lining” exhibit reception in the gallery! Congrats to all the student artists!!

Join us for the reception tonight for our current exhibit UO Advanced Photography’s “Silver Lining”! 📷

The reception is on Tuesday, May 26 from 5:30-6:30 in our gallery. There will be free food and drinks🍕

The exhibit is live until June 1st , so go check it out!

Silver Linings emerges from a term-long engagement in sustained independent practice and a backdrop of questions raised in Terry Barrett’s Criticizing Photographs: How do photographs produce meaning? What shapes our interpretations? How do context, intention, theory, and evaluation alter what we see? The works in this exhibition are presented as a contested space where personal experience, history, ideology, and visual culture intersect.

IDSA strives to build a collective of design students who promote the practice of industrial design through education, information, community and advocacy.

Our A&C Team at the McMillan Gallery had the great opportunity to help fund their annual end of year gala in the Woodruff Gym in Gerlinger! Come in best patterned attire for a night of fun and entertainment. All are welcome​​ for dinner, drinks fun games and awards
