Wonderful humans! I just wanted to shout out to all photographers real quick! Having good photographs taken is expensive, and time consuming.
I know as a consumer getting married I have suffered from sticker shock myself. However I guarantee you that your photographer has toiled over their prices and done comparisons and hourly breakdowns and equipment evals ect. They didn't come to that price lightly.
Often equipment and edit time is discissed/accounted for but there's so much more!
Today I spent a hour+ hunched over my sink scraping labels off the back of wine bottles so they catch light better. This is just a tiny piece of the puzzle that goes into the hour or whatever we spend with you to show the love and care we want you to feel when you see those photos! I've been so lucky with my clients but anyone who runs a business knows it's so much more than the final product.
