With hearts (so) full, we celebrate the retirement of BFan Principal Ballerina Izzy Overstreet as she took her final bow with BFan ❤️ 
Izzy’s performance career leaves an indelible mark. 
Originally from LA and after work with San Diego Ballet and Central Illinois Ballet, Izzy joined BFan as a Soloist in 2020 and was promoted to Principal in 2023. She never stops. At BFan, she is fierce technique, nuanced, fully developed characters, relentlessly dedicated commitment, and all-in spirit, in and out of the theater, and every single day. She is fully present in every moment of her training and performance. And, she commands every stage. You have fallen in love with her in roles from Irene Pöet, the brave detective in BFan’s world premiere of Murder at the Ballet, to her (show-stoppingly hilarious) Stepmom in Cinderella: The Rock Opera, her heart-filled Rose in Beauty & the Beast, her spunky Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary in Christmas in Toyland, her gorgeous, present, exuberant Princess Jasmine in Aladdin—and so many more.
