Checking over our book inventory got me thinking about bands and how we weave them. Inkle looms, cards, and backstrap rigid heddles come to mind. A coworker mused that there's nothing to stop you from weaving several bands at once on a table or floor loom, but the portability goes down. The new text from Heather Torgenrud, The Band Weaver's Project Book, has me wondering where I might implement a custom woven band. Curtain tiebacks maybe? Where do you see opportunity for bands in daily life?
