Sometimes you hit a home run… and sometimes the ball bounces off the foul pole right as it’s leaving the stadium.

When Level Up Homes contacted us to create a logo for their new company I unfortunately misunderstood the exact nature of what they do. I knew they were in the business of investment real estate, however I thought they were more on the remodel side than the finance side.

So as much as I loved this potential logo design that tied everything together so magically (A contractors level, a roofline, and an arrow pointing upward!), it was clearly not right for their company.

After going back to the drawing board with a better understanding of what they do, we created a much more elegant logo for them that still incorporates the concepts of residential housing and upward movement, but in a more elegant, luxurious, and refined manner.

In the end we created a logo that our client loved, which means this project was a home run after all.
