The Tour de France is under way, which means a few weeks of the best racing in the world to enjoy.

Over the years, more than a few Tour riders have found their way to a Bike Friday. It makes sense when you think about it: no pro wants to give up performance, even on a bike that happens to fold or seat two.

Phil Liggett, the Voice of the Tour himself, has ridden Bike Fridays for years and has been a vocal supporter of Bike Friday and swears by his Pocket Rocket.

But here's one you might not know about. Miguel Indurain, the five-time Tour winner known to everyone as Big Mig, was a Bike Friday rider for years. He first borrowed a Family Tandem on a charity ride in Texas, liked it enough that he ordered his own directly from us. The photo below shows him lined up next to Lance Armstrong on a Family Tandem before a charity ride.
