Sunrise at Willamette Valley Temple Springfield, Oregon
looking East. As the sunrise was beginning to wash out I glanced over my shoulder to the backside sunrise - looking west. the sky was a soft pink illuminating most of the sky. I enjoyed the moment and then realized the view from the east side of the temple. Hoping not to miss the shot, I hurriedly made my way east. As I arrived I could see I had missed the sky as I had seen it but was able to get a backside sunrise shot off that still had a touch of pink left in it. I had experienced the peaceful moments of the early morning and then the transformation and missing the peaceful moments as I hurried for the shot, experience the "missing it" and regrouped to realize what I had seen and the moments I had captured.

Was mowing the lawn and looked at the sky - grabbed camera and tried to make it to the Willamette Valley Oregon Temple before the sky lost its color. Got 2 shots and before it was gone and then back to finish the lawn in the almost dark. I think I got lucky with this one...
