Some big news!

The Third Quest is now a full series — and we have a newly designed website to match!

If you work with older students who need powerful reading support, you can now explore how our interventions work independently or together to accelerate growth.

Here’s how the journey has unfolded:

✨ 2018 – We launched The Third Quest: Mysterious Travels reading intervention. The impact was immediate. Success stories poured in… along with requests for more!

✨ 2021 – We introduced The Parallel Universe: Uncommon Adventures — a shorter intervention designed to prepare students for The Third Quest.

And because good things come in threes…

✨ 2026 – We proudly present The Hallway: Perilous Journeys!
Our most comprehensive intervention yet — addressing both reading and writing in response to reading to deepen comprehension and student confidence.

We can’t wait for you to explore the full series and see how these interventions work together to transform outcomes for older readers. Visit us at thethirdquest.com

hashtag Thanks to word of mouth and results ... The Third Quest is now in 3 countries! From Casey Tough in Australia: "I just wanted to pass on how thrilled we are with our initial trial of The Third Quest! It’s so enjoyable to teach and learn, but more importantly, it’s had a huge positive impact on my students’ fluency, comprehension and multisyllabic word reading in a very short span of time. Our first trial has been on my group of Year 7s who had just completed B1 for Corrective Reading Decoding. It went perfectly following this and we love the knowledge building aspect. It’s so thoughtfully designed. We are only 6 weeks in and have noticed great progress. Even this short time frame has really been the extra push a few of my students needed to get them from being competent at simple texts to to reading at grade level. I have 4 students who tested at B1 at start of the year who are reading at benchmark for year 7! reading at grade level.
