This is a question some men ask and it's understandable.

I've asked that question myself.

Over and over again I see the message - "Men need to lead."

And it goes against who I am as a man.

My conscious choice to submit has brought me more clarity and awareness in every area of my life.

And the same can be true for you.

You have a choice.

You can live up to a performative standard of masculinity because that's what everyone is telling you to do...

OR

You make the sovereign choice to honor what you know to be true for yourself, to be devoted and in service through submission.

Happy, wife, happy life is a motto a lot of men live by.

It's an unconscious power dynamic that is made by the abdication of choice.

When you don't speak up for what you want, it seems easy.

The boat isn't rocked and there's no obvious conflict.

But underneath the surface, you are in conflict...

With yourself.

And when a man is in conflict with himself it will spill out into every area of your life.

The counter-intuitive truth is that it's easier to do the work than it is to avoid doing the work.
