As temperatures rise, so does the potential for harmful algae blooms in lakes, ponds, and reservoirs. With water access available at most Lane County Parks, we want to help visitors stay informed before heading out on the water this summer.

We're sharing this message from the Oregon Health Authority about recognizing harmful algae blooms and staying safe around affected waterways.

Join us for a hands-on morning of stewardship at Armitage Park along the Crilly Nature Trail.

We’ll be improving this riverfront favorite, home to trails, a dog park, campground, and access to the McKenzie River.
