Why you’ll love working at Red Barn. It is an incredibly rewarding position that allows you to build lifelong relationships with children and families of our community. You have the opportunity to help guide and teach young minds to prepare them for continued education and life. It is an exciting and fun environment filled with smiles and support. The hours make it very flexible if you have other children attending school. Red Barn has been around for 45 years and is filled with dedicated individuals that want to see the school and you succeed. We have tons of opportunities for training and growth even if you have no previous experience.
Please provide a cover letter answering the following questions:
1. When are you able to start?
2. What experience (if any) in early childhood development do you have?
3. What experience with preschools do you have including if you have ever had children in preschool?
4. Do you have any experience with a co-op organization?
Please email with any and all questions and please don’t hesitate to apply! It is far more important for us to find an individual that would love to learn and is passionate about working with children over someone who may have years of experience (which would be a wonderful plus too!)
Red Barn preschool struggled just as every business did during the Covid 19 pandemic. This year we
were faced with additional challenges due to low enrollment and staffing shortages. Our goal is to
reopen Red Barn’s doors in January 2023 but we need the community’s help. We need donations to help
keep Red Barn afloat. We need volunteers that would like to assist with fundraising and or in any other
capacity. And mostly we need help with spreading the word that Red Barn is in search of a head teacher
along with all the positives that come with being involved and enrolled in a co-op preschool. If you have
experiences with Red Barn, share them. If you know someone who could make an excellent preschool
teacher, send them our way. We would appreciate any and all help financially or otherwise as we are a
small group of parents that are trying to keep an amazing staple in our Estacada community alive.
Please watch for fundraisers on our page and share! One of the simplest ways to support Red
Barn if you have a Fred Meyers Rewards card at no cost to you is by joining community rewards. Simply
sign in to your Fred Meyer’s account and search for Red Barn Cooperative Preschool (VP349) in the
community rewards section. Once added, the school benefits every time you shop.
