Let’s talk about numbing and why lash enhancements may take a little longer!

Depending on what is requested, lash enhancements are done in a two step process.

I always start on the bottom lash line with a topical numbing agent. This takes approximately 18-20 mins. Once numb, I will do one pass, to see how well the client skin takes the pigment but to also break open the lash line so my secondary, fast acting numbing topical can be applied throughout the second and possibly third passes. I rotate back and forth to ensure the pigment is evenly placed and I can build on my color until I reach my clients desired results.

Once the bottom lash line is completed, I then will move to the top lash line and restart the process. Another 20 min topical gets applied to the top lash line for maximum numbing results. Once the first pass is completed I will apply the secondary throughout.

Numbing creams are always applied carefully and with as much precision as possible throughout the base of your lashes.

So for at least 40 mins of the appointment you are sitting there resting your eyes! Great time to shut off your brain and get a much needed break from the world!

The rest of your appointment time is spent completing the procedure with care, having fun in between passes, really building on color and wiping away all pigment to reveal a beautiful result!

Back to back lash enhancements for today!! Sondy is so near and dear to me, and I was beyond honored to give her exactly what she wanted! She was worried about her smaller eyes so we wanted to give a nice pop but not come all the way in. She chose mocha as well for a soft natural line!!! Can’t wait to see these healed!!!
