If my children don’t want to be touched, DO NOT touch them.
Don’t bribe them with candy for a kiss or hug.
Don’t pick them up and force them to hug or kiss you.
Don't pressure them to give in when they are not comfortable.
We are not teaching people pleasing here, we are teaching respect and boundaries. If you don't like that, I'm sorry but I'm teaching my child that if they're not comfortable and don't want to be touched they have that right to not be. They can say no.💯
