: Hire an assistant or a virtual assistant to do the cold calling for you. You can give them a set number of calls they have to complete for the day. Rather than calling multiple pointless leads, they can get you contact information for leads that are truly interested in buying or selling a home.

Building my real estate career has been a journey—sometimes fast-paced, but other times, I’ve felt like a land turtle, moving slowly and unsure if I’d ever reach my goals. But you know what? I’ve learned that slow progress is still progress. The key is to keep moving forward, one step at a time.
Along the way, I realized there are things that can hold us back. Here are 8 things I’ve learned to watch out for (and work on):
1️⃣ Not learning – Growth stops when learning stops. I’ve had to remind myself to stay curious and constantly sharpen my skills.
2️⃣ Focusing too much on money – It’s important, but I try to focus on the bigger picture and not let financial stress paralyze me.
3️⃣ Unclear goals – I realized I needed to define what success looks like for me and chase it with purpose.
4️⃣ Lack of vision – Knowing how to get to where I want to be has been just as important as knowing what I want.
5️⃣ Overthinking – My mind loves to dwell on all the things that could go wrong. But what if it all goes right? That mindset shift has been a game changer.
6️⃣ Inaction – I’ve learned to focus on one thing at a time, instead of getting overwhelmed by everything on my plate.
7️⃣ Not taking ownership – At the end of the day, this is my business. I’ve had to step up and take full responsibility for my wins and losses.
8️⃣ Avoiding collaboration – Asking for help isn’t easy, but I’ve grown so much by seeking advice from others and working as a team.
I’ve learned to embrace the slow-and-steady approach, just like a land turtle. Progress doesn’t have to be flashy or fast—it just has to happen. So if you’re feeling stuck, don’t give up. Keep challenging yourself to grow. You’ve got this!

For Sale Signs – Showstopper or Deal Killer?
A For Sale sign needs to be a showstopper, or it needs to cause a driver to want to slow his car just a little bit.
If you want to kill it in real estate this season, you may need to do quick evaluation of the quality of your signs. Is your sign a showstopper or does your signage need improvement? Are your signs bringing in the homebuyers? Are they cementing your brand throughout the neighborhood?
You may need to modify them a little bit. The key is to make it simple for prospective buyers to see the sign, make a call (or text), and quickly obtain the information they want. In this way, the yard sign will give, and it will also receive.
Take this quick 3-question quiz to evaluate whether your signage bites… and follow directions on how to fix it: https://transaction911.com/the-truth-about-real-estate-signage/
