We’re so excited for our 10X Learning Center students that joined the incredible summer STEM camps through CSUSM’s Center for Research and Engagement in STEM Education (CRESE)!

From building rovers and coding with Arduinos to tackling hands-on engineering challenges and exploring innovative maker spaces, these experiences spark creativity, curiosity, and confidence in STEM. 👾

We’re incredibly grateful to CRESE and their partners for investing in our students. We can’t wait to see all they’ll learn and create this summer! 🚀🔬💡

🎭 New Teacher Alert at 10X! ⚽️

We’re excited to add Amy West to our team. She’ll be offering PE, enrichment for elementary students, and drama/performing arts courses.

Here’s a little about Amy and what she’ll be offering this Fall:

“I have been teaching and working with kids since 2017. I have a passion for teaching and creating safe places where children can grow beyond where they thought possible.

I studied Early Childhood Education, which further grew my love for making learning fun and finding new ways to promote engagement. I am an experienced school teacher, coach, choreographer, and art/dance instructor.”

🏀 Adventure PE ⚽️
Enjoy fun-filled team sports and active games that build coordination, agility, confidence, and awaken creativity. This V.A.P.A./P.E, class combines themed sport challenges and imaginative play.

🎭 Stories Come to Life 📚
Book Club meets Drama! We’ll read stories together then bring your favorite characters to life through creative writing and dramatic play.

🐢 Undersea Explorers 🐋
Dive into an underwater world of discovery and creativity! In this awesome class, students will explore a new marine animal each week-like sharks, jellyfish, sea turtles, and more. We’ll learn amazing facts about how these creatures live, eat, and why they’re important to our ocean.

Then, we’ll bring science to life through art! Students will create colorful pages inspired by what they’ve learned. Each week adds a new entry to their very own marine life book, a one-of-a-kind keepsake by the end of the session.

With more than 20 years of experience as an educator and creative professional in the visual and performing arts—including work in the entertainment industry—Jessica brings a passion for inspiring creativity and building strong artistic foundations.

Discover what makes characters come alive! Draw your favorite cartoons, learn principles of character design, and create a cast of your own with guidance from an artist who has worked at Disney.

🌿 Watercolor Nature Journals
Combine art and science as you create your own nature journal. Explore watercolor techniques, color theory, and the beauty of the natural world while recording your observations through art and words.

Cool news! 10X just added a laser cutter to its STEM lab! ⚡️🤖👾💥

This fall, students will get hands-on experience with manufacturing, product design, architecture, engineering, and entrepreneurship.

The future belongs to people who create, innovate, and solve problems. At 10X, we’re helping students build the skills, confidence, and experience they’ll need for whatever comes next. 🚀✨

These kids rocked it. So excited to host and their first ever Speech and Debate camp! These skills will continue beyond the classroom and build them into future leaders. 🎙️👩‍🏫
