Lighthouse Dentistry

Sometimes a dental splint (or occlusal splint) is recommended in the treatment of TMJ syndrome. This is a dental appliance placed in the mouth, usually at night, to keep the teeth in alignment and prevent tooth grinding.

If you think that all dentists are the same, then you'd be mistaken. While they all graduated from dental school, many of them chose to continue their education so they can become specialists in different areas of dentistry.
