Been dealing with rashes for over 6 months in my arm pits. Dermatologist unhelpful. I visited one medical initially and they gave me anti fungal cream and it didn’t help. I went to the dermatologist and he made me take a bunch of probiotics and use hydrocortisone. Nothing has helped. I also have similar rashes in smaller fashion in other private areas. I’m going back to the dermatologist next week but I don’t trust they’ll be able to help me. Any ideas?

Does this rash look like hiv? I suddenly got these boils overnight I have not had any outside exposure and me and my wife both have been only with each other. The only thing I did was that I had a blood test 2-3 months back. After that my wife had cold and also swollen gums (not sores as such) and then recently I suddenly got these blisters overnight on my shoulders and back. I do have back acne generally also but these appeared suddenly overnight. I have also had severe panic attacks 2-3 weeks ago.

Rash , help me this ring-shaped rash (with sometimes minor lesions next to it) has appeared and disappeared several times on my neck. what do you think? I'll start by saying I've already been to doctors and had tests.

I'm at my wit's end with this rash that keeps spreading. Erythema annulare centrifugum, psoriasis, pityriasis rosea? SOS!
If any of you kind souls have a moment, could you look at this and share your thoughts? I've been dealing with this rash for three months now and I need to get it under control, it's really starting to affect my mental health.

The first spot appeared around Thanksgiving, three months ago. A small, pink dry patch in the middle of my back about an inch across. It grew to several inches wide by Christmas and developed a noticeable red ring. My PC said it was ringworm, but it didn't respond to anti-fungal (topical or oral).

It started spreading a week into January with several smaller spots appearing on my chest and stomach. Dermatologist did a biopsy on the original spot on my back. The results came back as:

SLIGHT SPONGIOTIC PSORIASIFORM DERMATITIS, RUBBED Note: The differential diagnosis includes long-standing erythema annulare centrifugum and nummular dermatitis. PAS stain is negative for hyphae and pseudohyphae.

They prescribed a topical steroid cream that didn't have any affect and the spots continue to spread. Some of the older spots are starting to get flaky and fade just a bit, but none have gone away completely.

I've suspected that it might be pityriasis rosea based on what I've learned online. The first spot on my back would have been the herald patch, with the smaller spots all appearing in the time since. It's been mostly limited to my torso, with a couple spots on my neck, one on my arm, and three on my leg. What's weird is that the spots elongate on the skin tension lines, you can see in the pictures! I heard that's common with pityriasis rosea?

I went back today and the PA I met with thinks that it's erythema annulare centrifugum. She said that it's hard to determine the cause, and more importantly that it's hard to treat. I'm panicking about the thought of having to live with this indefinitely. They did another biopsy on a new spot to try and get more answers.

Looking at the photos, what do you think?

Contact dermatitis rash- from detergent? Stress? SOS! Have had this rash for months and have seen urgent care, dermatologist, and allergist. Allergist can’t do a patch test because it’s too severe on my back. I’ve taken prednisone which helped but it has since returned.

It’s all over my back, stomach, forearms (not the tops though), and near my armpits but not within them.

It’s itchy especially when I sweat, and I have a theory it’s my detergent. I switched from Method to Tide Free and Clear 2 weeks ago but still hasn’t gone away.

This period of my life has been more stressful than usual: 2 job changes, a big move, and busy schedule.

HELP! I want to remove all my skin!!!!!! Desperate for some relief and answers.

Rash…help! This rash started 1 week ago. It was the size of a pencil eraser or so, a little red and blistery, and itchy. On and off there’s been a little pain, but it’s mostly just been uncomfortable and gotten itchier. It’s about the size of a dime now, more red, more itchy, more blistery, maybe a little bruised around it from itching.

I don’t want to go to the dr for nothing but I also don’t want to put on an ointment/cream that’s bad for it and make it worse. I’ve been told it could be staph, a spider bite, herpes, a fungal infection, cellulitis, hpv. Not helpful when I get all different answers 😅

It’s on my upper right arm.

After in*******se, my bf gets a skin rash on the parts of his body that my body touches. This has been happening for a while. He gets this rash on areas where there is a lot of friction between our bodies— primarily my lower legs and thighs.

I do not use heavily scented soaps or lotions because I have sensitive skin. However he has been using a heavily scented soaps by chemo called paleo Sanyo that I can smell from the front door if he’s actively showering. I use shea moisture African black soap and i did not shower last night even and neither did he. My leg hairs are coarse however and are short at the moment so that could be a factor?

I also feel it is worth mentioning that neither of us got sweaty in this session.

He says that that it itches slightly if he continues to touch the rash but then it goes away within an hour maximum. I saw somewhere mention that the increased blood flow in a man post or**sm can cause this rash to appear.

So we’re just wondering what this is and how to prevent it. And if it’s a. Problem to be concerned about.

What is this weird rash ? Only on neck and chest. Red, burning, itchy and painful. Like the title states, this was a few years ago in 2020 and it started out with just itching on my neck/chest. Then it started turning red and blotchy like the first few pics.

It kept getting worse and worse no matter what I applied or took. It was constantly burning, itchy and painful. I tried steroid creams, antihistamines, oral steroids and topical tacrolimus.

I Went to the doctor, did a biopsy, she could not find anything. Went to the dermatologist and he said it was some kind of allergic dermatitis. But he could not find a specific cause. Nobody could tell me what caused it, and it went away just as it started, slowly and randomly.

I am posting because I can feel it starting again. And the first time it happened I tried to to pinpoint the cause and rule out whatever but there is nothing that could have caused it like soap, perfume etc.
