Four Seasons
2025

Colors of transition, Summer, Fall, Winter to Spring. Earthy shades signal to our brains when we’re entering new seasons. In this piece, I toned a dozen cyanotypes of the rose of Sharon and mounted the paper on wood panel. I used Madder Root for the reds, Marigolds for the yellow, sodium carbonate for the teals, green tea for purples and fenugreek seed for the greens.

Some were toned in community on world Cyanotype day at with , and .studio . Others were toned in my studio, quietly and curiously.

Each piece can be sold separately, or there is a discount for a set. 🌊🌸 8 are still available. DM if interested. 💙

I’m excited to continue adding these rich hues to my cyanotypes. It’s all just one big experiment of self expression and reflections with nature. 🍃

The Offing
2025, toned cyanotype on paper, mounted on cradled wood panel, 18x24
Available at

“The offing” is the place where the sea meets the sky or the distant part of the sea, and can represent something good coming in the near future.

For this piece, I collaged three cyanotypes, the larger paper is a photogram of my tomato plant that I toned to appear as the sky, and the bottom two pieces were exposed at the beach of Presque Isle with salt and soap to create the water-like textures.

Together, creating an abstract seascape. 🌊

The offing is part of a larger body of work that I created over the summer as a quiet escape from the demands of day-to-day life. I created many cyanotypes outside and then intuitively paired papers and fabrics together to create the final works of art. 10+ pieces are on display as part of a 2 person show “RECESS” with .studio .
