June is National Foster a Shelter Pet Month, and we're celebrating the incredible foster families who help make our mission possible.

Fosters provide a temporary, loving home for pets who need a little extra TLC, socialization, or time to heal before finding their forever families. The Erie Humane Society provides the food, supplies, and medical care—you provide the safe place and love.

Fair warning: fostering may lead to a condition known as "foster failure"—when your foster pet steals your heart and becomes a permanent member of the family. 🐶🐱❤️
